Nick Deutsch is an oboist and the music director of the Australian National Academy of Music. I’ve known Nick since our youth orchestra days. More recently we’ve worked together in Frankfurt and at the ANAM and when I had the idea to talk with musicians about neglected masterpieces, I knew Nick wouldn’t be short of ideas.
